I’ve held many different roles throughout my career in education: elementary and middle school teacher, mentor teacher, and 6th-12th grade Assistant Principal. I’ve also served as the Academic/Career Coordinator for an organization supporting young adults transitioning out of intensive treatment programs. 

 

As a coach, I love working with teachers at various stages of their careers, seeing the amazing work they do day in and day out, learning from them, and working alongside them to problem-solve. My goal is to facilitate support in a way that feels authentic to their individual practice. It’s very rewarding when I work with teachers to find solutions that stick, helping them to feel reenergized and hopeful with new learnings and solutions. 

 

Favorite Teachers

Mrs. McKee; 2nd grade, & Mr. Trovato; 12th grade English. Both showed so much empathy and treated all students with respect. They welcomed questions and challenged their classes while still being warm, having a sense of humor, and creating community.
