Hal Schwartz
Over the past 20 years, I've had various roles in many schools: Principal, Consultant, Director of Curriculum & Instruction, and Teacher. I've worked in unique school settings across different sectors: public, private, magnet, and charter.
After working in many different schools across the country, I've learned that no matter the geographic location or makeup of a school community, children thrive when they feel connected, valued, and have choice and voice in their learning. I am passionate about helping educators create these types of environments for all students.
I hold a B.S. in Elementary Education from Penn State University and a M.Ed. in School Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Kruger; High school Art, because he was the first teacher to truly recognize my potential - both as an artist and as a person. He challenged me to excel and pushed me to my limits. Beyond that, he took the time to understand me as a person, learning about my passions, interests, and concerns.
