Education has been my lifelong passion! I started my teaching career when I was 8, when I received my first “teacher’s set” for my birthday. Eventually, I went on to become a high school English teacher, and I've been especially focused on student-centered learning since the beginning of my career, when I taught at a project-based learning school in Sweden. Students had autonomy, were engaged, curious, hardworking, and happy to be in school - so I was hooked!
I'm passionate about helping to create school environments where faculty and students are excited to show up everyday, where they feel supported and celebrated, and where everyone’s having fun!
I hold a B.S. in Secondary Education from Penn State, and a Masters in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Rines; 4th grade, because he taught us through stories about his own life, and held me to a high standard because he believed in and genuinely cared about me.
